Elaine Richardson is a member of Faith Chapel Church of God in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is a native of Palmetto, Louisiana (the youngest child and daughter of Mary and Burley Fontenot). She grew up in the Church of God in Palmetto and upon marrying and moving to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she became a member of Faith Chapel Church of God under the leadership of Pastor J.D. Brown and has been a member there for the last 25 years. Elaine is a 1982 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a B.S. degree in Business with a major in Accounting. Elaine is married to Frank Richardson and they have 3 children, Jeremy, Jason, and Kandace Richardson who are all currently in college.
Elaine is employed with the Louisiana Department of Revenue in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and works in the Criminal Investigation Division as a Revenue Auditor III. She has 25 years with the Louisiana Department of Revenue and has been in the Criminal Investigation Division for 21 of those 25 years.
Elaine is an active member of Faith Chapel where she serves in various ministries. She is a teacher of the Primary Sunday School Class (grades 1 thru 3); she is a member of the Faith Chapel Praise Team; she is a worker/ devotion leader of the Saturday Program for children(ages 3-12); she is one of the teachers for Children's Church ministry serving once a month in that ministry; she is a member of Women of Destiny where she serves as Secretary/Treasurer; she is the State Treasurer for the State CWC(Christian Women Connecting; formerly WCG); she is part of a cell group at Faith Chapel and she attends Bible Study on a regular basis. Elaine, along with Ruth Williams has been teaching a children's class at SIMC for the past 2 years.
