He has over 20 years experience in Social Work and Real Estate development. He is the founder of No Limits International Economic Development Corporation (No Limits IEDC), a Faith-Based Economic and Community Development Corporation. His passion is approaching Community and Economic Development Outreach from a holistic approach by partnering with Church Organizations, Faith-Based Community Development Corporations, Faith-Based Non-Profit Corporations as we as Private Non-Profits, Government entities, Private Corporations and Individuals.
Terry specializes in consulting with and supporting Churches and Faith-Based Non-Profit Organizations in creating Community Housing Development Corporations (CHDO’s) for the purposes of “Re-development” and “Neighborhood Revitalization” in “under-developed” neighborhoods to serve “Low-to-Moderate” income families. The challenges of low-to-moderate income neighborhoods typically revolve around disinvestment and absentee ownership. As homeownership declines older buildings and houses are likely to be bought by absentee investors who allow the buildings and houses to deteriorate while charging high rents. The rent paid to these “absentee” landlords leaves the community. The CHDO, that Terry helps create, is in an excellent position to partner with local government entities and other non-profit organizations to revitalize and re-develop neighborhoods through the acquisition and renovation of dilapidated and abandoned housing and creating affordable housing opportunities to serve low-to-moderate income families by developing newly constructed homes.
